Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) was established in 1910 under the purview of the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, India. Up to and ending at the secondary (class 10) level, the following streams of education are offered: the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) stream, the Anglo-Indian stream, the Oriental School Leaving Certificate (OSLC) stream and the Matriculation stream. And for higher secondary (classes 11 and 12) there is single unified stream leading to the award of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). The TNBSE evaluates students' progress by conducting two board examinations-one at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12. The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.
The Board of Secondary Education releases the Board exam result for Class 10 and Class 12 in the month of May. In 2015, the 12th exams were conducted in March and for 10th in March/April. The result for 12th is to be published in May 2015. In 2014, the result for 12th standard was announced on May 9, 2014 and result for SSLC published on May 23, 2014. In 2015, 10th results published on May 21, 2015.

For Example, they have to Send "tnboard12 123456,01/04/1995" to 09282232585 where their Registration No is ‘123456’ and DOB is ‘01/04/1995’
